Be A STAR! -- Scouter That Attends RoundtableWhat is Roundtable?

Roundtable is a form of supplemental training held monthly on a district basis. Roundtable provides Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders an opportunity to share ideas and activities with leaders from other units. It is a source of continuing information. Come be a S.T.A.R.

Cherokee District Roundtable

Cherokee District Roundtable meets on the first Thursday of every month with the exception of June and July. The August Roundtable will be the Annual Program Preview. Cherokee District Roundtable is held at the Bessemer Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on the Bessemer Super Highway. Roundtable begins at 7:00 p.m. Cub Scout and Boy Scout break-outs begin around 7:30 p.m.

Cub Scout Roundtable

Tiger Cub den leaders and parents, Wolf & Bear den leaders, Webelos den leaders, Cubmasters, and Committee Chairmen:

DON'T BE AFRAID . . . YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

RELAX. You don't have to worry about organizing a year-long program for a group of kids just so your son can be a Cub Scout! We've done alot of the work for you. That's right -- the planning is DONE . . . really! All you need to do is attend to get great ideas.

Roundtable provides you with a wealth of information on all upcoming Cub Scout events, activities, and opportunities. In addition there are handouts for all Tiger Cub, Wolf & Bear den leaders, 4th and 5th Grade Webelos den leaders, and Cubmasters and Committee Chairmen designed to give leaders extra meeting and activity ideas, and above all SUPPORT!!! The Roundtable staff can give YOU the information you need to make your program year an exciting one.

So, what are you waiting for? Join us for an evening of fellowship and fun, meet other Cub Scout parents and leaders, get exciting ideas to make your meetings fun, and learn about the wonderful opportunity you are giving your son through Scouting at Cherokee District Roundtable.

Boy Scout Roundtable

Boy Scout leaders and parents, Roundtable provides you with a wealth of information on all upcoming Boy Scout events, activities, and opportunities. The meeting begins each month with an opening, followed by discussion on the monthly theme. A special topic is often presented, and open forum for discussion on any topics where leaders need support.
